This course will look at changes to how news is gathered, distributed and consumed. The impact of social media, allegations of ¿fake news¿ and the shift away from traditional forms of news presentation will be part of an examination of journalism¿s role and influence. The course will include practitioners discussing challenges and new approaches.

- 20% Rule
No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
