Thematically organized around studies in memory, this course traverses literature, philosophy, psychology and the visual arts, from Plato to the digital age, in an effort to understand the interrelatedness of all the arts with respect to one of the most complicated domains of human thought and practice. Course credit exclusions: AP/COMN 4780 6.00, AP/EN 4050 6.00. Open to: Yr 04 English majors/minors. Notes: students who have taken AP/EN 4070 6.00 A (Fall/Winter 2009-2010) or AP/EN 4070 6.00 B (Fall/Winter 2011-2012) may not take AP/EN 4050 6.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
