This introductory course aims to provide a working knowledge of several statistical techniques which are widely used in many branches of geography. Some attention is also given to broader questions concerning the nature of the scientific method. Prerequisites: 24 credits successfully completed. This course is intended primarily for students majoring in geography and is normally taken during the second-year of study.
