Introduces students to Latin America as an area of historical study. It provides a broad outline of major themes in Latin American history from the conquest era to the present day (15th-21st centuries) and an introduction to some of the key concepts and issues in the historiography. Course credit exclusion: AP/HIST 2720 6.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
