The course is an introduction to scripting languages. The first part reviews computational concepts and techniques including distinctions between the two programming paradigms of functional and object-oriented. The second part is focused on simple business problems, which require processing of business data, derivation of computational models, and use of the data to generate insights and knowledge.Prerequisites: AP/ITEC 1000 3.00, AP/ITEC 1010 3.00, AP/ITEC 1620 3.00Open to: ITEC majors and minorsNot open to: Computer Science or Engineering Majors or Minors
