Surveys recent developments in macroeconomic research. Among the topics covered are rational expectation models, consumption theory, new Keynesian models of staggering wages and prices, menu costs, efficiency wages and imperfect competition, and new classical and new Keynesian business cycle theories. Prerequisites: AP/ECON 2400 3.00 and AP/ECON 2450 3.00 or equivalents. Recommended prerequisites: AP/ECON 2300, AP/ECON 2350 3.00, and AP/ECON 3530 3.00.
