This course explores the point counterpoint Canadian theoretical-critical tradition of Marshall McLuhan and Northrop Frye in relation to the North American visionary tradition, and considers their continuing impact on current thinkers and writers both in Canada and elsewhere. Course credit exclusion: AP/EN 4004 6.00.
