This course examines the dramatic changes in work and employment practices, new production processes and increased capital mobility against the background of the emerging global economy. Special emphasis is given to the future of women's employment, state policy and collective bargaining. Prerequisite: A 1000-level social science. Course credit exclusion: AP/SOCI 3392 6.00.
