This course focuses on four major theoretical feminist perspectives on families, gender and the state. Exploring issues such as regulation of sexuality, division of labour and income, violence, childcare, and reproduction of race and class. Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed 84 credits.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
