An exploration of the various aspects that have characterized the experience of development over the last half century. We focus on the concepts, theories and strategies of development that have formed the core of the debate within the field of development studies. Prerequisite:AP/SOSC 1430 9.00 or permission of the International Development Studies program coordinator.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
