Critically introduces the history and major traditions of the discipline of Anthropology including fieldwork methods and ethnographic writing. This course further introduces the distinctive contributions of anthropology and provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the core concepts required for upper level anthropology courses. Open to: Anthropology majors/minors.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
