This course is a critical, cross-disciplinary introduction to the global cultures of children and young people. It explores the ways young people in diverse places and spaces participate in and express social and cultural values and practices in their everyday lives. It understands childhood as culturally defined, and young people as active agents in and of culture. Prerequisite: AP/CCY 1999 6.00. Course Credit Exclusion: AP/HUMA 2690 6.00 and HUMA 2690 9.00

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
