This course examines the process of managed change in human organizations and the critical role of communication in the change process. We will critically analyze approaches to implementing planned change using a variety of models from the social sciences. Prerequisite: AP/COMN 3311 3.00 and AP/COMN 3312 3.00, or permission of the course director. Course credit exclusion: AP/COMN 4315 6.00 (prior to Fall 2012). PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Prerequisite: AS/SOSC 3311 6.00 or permission of the course director. Course credit exclusion: AS/SOSC 4315 6.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
