Examines the ways that information, communication, and media are linked to the production and maintenance of wealth and social power, and the ways in which symbolic resources are allocated within political economic systems and cultural institutions. Course credit exclusion: AP/COMN 4802 6.00 (prior to Fall 2012).

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
