Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite
This course is designed to improve students' ability to speak, understand, read and write French. The focus is on improving listening and pronunciation skills, and on developing spontaneous expression, research skills, and the ability to explain fundamental concepts of French society. Prerequisites: AP/FR 1030 6.00 (with a minimum grade of C), or GL/FR 1500 6.00 (with a minimum grade of C), or through language placement questionnaire. Course credit exclusions: AP/FR 1060 6.00, GL/FRLS 1510 6.00 (prior to Fall 2013), GL/FRLS 1512 3.00, GL/FRLS 1515 3.00, GL/FRLS 1525 3.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
