Using an interdisciplinary approach, this course explores how many aspects of our lives are gendered, racialized, embodied, sexualized, and classed, and the consequences of these intersecting practices for social inequalities. Key debates within feminist scholarship are introduced to analyze issues of power and transformation. PRIOR TO FALL 2014: AP/GWST 2510 9.00, GL/GWST 2510 9.00, AP/HUMA 2930 9.00, AP/SOSC 2180 9.00,PRIOR TO FALL 2013: Course credit exclusions: AP/WMST 2500 6.00 or GL/WMST 2500 6.00, AP/WMST 2510 9.00, GL/WMST 2510 9.00.
