Explores the intersection of religion and superstition from ancient times to the present. Analyzes issues of gender, power and sexuality through the study of goddesses, witches and the current fascination with vampires in popular culture. Course credit exclusions: AP/GL/WMST 3557 6.00 (prior to Fall 2013). Note: An introductory course in Gender and Women's Studies is recommended.
