This course uses a feminist anti-racist lens to explore the increasing intersection of processes of globalization and militarization in what many refer to as 'the new age of Empire,' examining in particular the emergence of the security paradigm post 9/11. PRIOR TO FALL 2013: course credit exclusions: AP/WMST 4516 6.00, GL/WMST 4516 6.00.
