This course uses a feminist anti-racist lens to explore the increasing intersection of processes of globalization and militarization in what many refer to as 'the new age of Empire,' examining in particular the emergence of the security paradigm post 9/11. Course credit exclusions: AP/GL/WMST 4516 6.00 (prior to Fall 2013). PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusion: AK/AS/WMST 4516 6.00.
