This course focuses on changing public attitudes, government policy, and immigrants' social, economic and political life in North America from its origins to the present. The course critically examines the historiography of North American immigration and ethnic studies, and encourages comparative analysis. Open to: History or Canadian Studies Honours majors and minors who have successfully completed at least 84 credits.
