Topics illustrating the ways in which culture in Canada resembles and is different from other cultures. The emphasis is on the 20th century. Materials to be used include fiction, poetry, folklore, the visual arts and various social and historical studies. Course credit exclusion: AP/HUMA 1740 6.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
