Explores cultural expression as a social act. What happens when material culture is caught between opposing forces: corporations and governments? To the individual voices of resisting dissidents arguing for originality, individuality and authenticity? Areas of concentration include: print media, sports, film, television. Course credit exclusions: None. PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusion: AK/CLTR 3100 6.00.
