This course develops an understanding of contemporary North American Jewry using findings of social science. Social, cultural, political and religious issues concerning the Jewish community are analyzed, such as assimilation, intermarriage, ethnic identity, Jewish education, anti-Semitism, etc. Course credit exclusion: AP/HUMA 3917 3.00, AP/SOSC 3917 3.00
