The purpose of the course is to think through the relationship between literary writing and transgression in its many senses (moral, legal, political, and aesthetic) with reference to a number of modern European classics, supplemented by theoretical and critical discussions on the subject of transgressive art and its relative value. Course credit exclusion: AP HUMA 4607 3.00.
