Examines from a social science perspective the prospects of technology, bioscience, and information management, versus such perils as environmental degradation, terrorism, organized crime, and pandemics that are evidently emerging around us. Students will address emerging issues and formulate responses. Note: This is an approved LA&PS General Education course: Social Science Note: This course will not count for major credit in HREQ.
