In this interdisciplinary course, students gain a critical sensitivity to the values embedded in biomedicine and in alternative health discourses and practices, and an understanding of health both in the local and global contexts. Topics are interpreted from a theoretical and an applied perspective.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
