This course is for students taking the Firm and Organization stream in Business and Society. It introduces students to different disciplinary perspectives on organizations, the firm, management and the role of business schools in Anglo-American society. It involves lecture-based and tutorial learning as students evaluate the design, governance and valuation of the firm as an organization central to contemporary capitalism. Corequisites: AP/SOSC 1340 9.00 (or AP/SOSC 1349 9.00).

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
