This course explores the implications of living in a post-fact world where objective facts are less influential in shaping social relations. Students will discover that post-facts are embedded in many of our social activities and examine causes behind the rise of post-facts; particularly how pervasive social irrationalism and anti-intellectualism have contributed to the emergence of widespread skepticism about truth. Prerequisite/Co-requisite: AP/SOSC 2000 6.00

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
