This course is designed for students taking the Global Economy stream in Business & Society. It introduces students to different theories of globalisation and specifically to those theories based on free market ideology, politics and policies. It involves seminar-based and group-based learning as students evaluate the specific implications of neoliberalism to particular countries, industries and social groups. Open to: Business & Society (BUSO) majors in Global Economy Stream (and other BUSO students with permission).

- 20% Rule
No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term. The exceptions to the rule are classes which regularly meet Friday evenings or on Saturday and/or Sunday at any time, and courses offered in the compressed summer terms. - Academic Accommodation for Students with Disabilities
