This course engages students in the historical study of a topic in law and society through background reading, discussion, and exercises with historical documents. Students then propose, research, write and present research papers using archival and other primary sources. Prerequisite: AP/SOSC 2350 6.00 with a minimum of C+.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
