This course aims to challenge students to think creatively about the meaning of development in the new millennium. Drawing on case studies from the South, it aims to systematically evaluate both the successes and failures of past development initiatives. Course credit exclusions: None. PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusion: AS/SOSC 4602 6.00.
