Examines how and why writing can be so persuasive that it can change history by altering what people believe to be true. With famous examples of persuasive writing of diverse styles and genres and instruction in critical stylistics and speech communication theory, students learn specific rhetorical techniques for effective persuasion. Course credit exclusions: AP/EN 3390 6.00.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
