This course examines the historical, theoretical, methodological and contemporary issues relating to Black women's activism in North America. The course explores how notions of community, resistance and activism have shaped the lived experiences of African-American and Canadian women. Course credit exclusions: AP/GL/WMST 3533 3.00 (prior to Fall 2013). PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusion: AK/AS/WMST 3533 3.00.


Course Start Up
