The course explores the applicability of sociological theory - classical and contemporary - to the social issues of modernity particularly, in relation to inequality, exploitation, and democratic rights of subaltern groups and their relationship to elite. Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed 84 credits. Course credit exclusions: None. PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusion: AS/SOCI 4215 3.00, AS/SOCI 4215 6.00.


Course Start Up
