Critically examines popular explanations of what is considered natural (and what is not) about sex, gender, emotions and the family. Through a cross-cultural approach, biological models of natural gender roles, as well as sexual and familial relations, are explored and questioned. Course credit exclusion: AP/ANTH 2170 3.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
