This course develops critical perspectives on visual culture. We examine major theories in the field, examine the histories of various media, and critically analyze the social, political and cultural implications of visual culture. Course credit exclusion: AP/COMN 4326 6.00 (prior to Fall 2012).

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
