How do film-makers handle the past? How does their treatment differ from that of the historian, whether by presentation, inspiration or interpretation? This course explores these issues within the time-frame of the ancient world to the present. Note: Priority is given to History Honours majors and minors who have successfully completed at least 84 credits.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
