This course enables and empowers students to understand and draw conclusions from statistics without unnecessary anxiety. As a first applied statistics course for students, the course immerses students in developing their analytical competency by learning to collect and analyze data in hands-on exercises and assignments, often guided by real-life examples. Course Credit Exclusions: HH/KINE 2050 3.00, HH/PSYC 2020 6.00, HH/PSYC 2021 3.00, AP/ECON 2500 3.00, AP/POLS 3300 6.00, AP/PPAS 3300 6.0, AP/ADMS 2320 3.00. Notes: This course is not equivalent to AP/ADMS 2320 3.00 and does not qualify towards the BAS, BDEM or BHRM degree. PRIOR TO FALL 2015: Course Credit Exclusions: HH/KINE 2050 3.0, HH/PSYC 2020 6.0, HH/PSYC 2021 3.0, AP/ECON 2500 3.0, AP/POLS 3300 6.0, AP/PPAS 3300 6.00. No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
