Examines the theories and practices of the global media - telecommunications, news, film, television, and the new media - in the contexts of local communication and culture. The interactions between the global media and local communication and culture are explored. Course credit exclusion: AP/COMN 4804 6.00 (prior to Fall 2012).

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
