Offers in-depth analysis of the way social and cultural processes shape our experience and understanding of catastrophe, whether natural, accidental, or intentional. Focus will be on how people and institutions make decisions as related to natural, technological and man-made disasters. Prerequisites: AP/ADMS/DEMS 2700 3.00 and AP/ADMS/DEMS 3701 3.00 Cross-Listing: AP/ADMS 3708 3.00
