Deals with the expenditure side of public finance. Topics include theories of public expenditure, public expenditure policies in Canada and problems of multi-level governments including federal-provincial financial relations. Prerequisites: AP/ECON 2300 3.00, AP/ECON 2350 3.00, AP/ECON 2400 3.00, and AP/ECON 2450 3.00, or equivalents. PRIOR TO FALL 2014: Course credit exclusion: GL/ECON 3570 3.00.
