Derives least squares and maximum likelihood estimators for classical and generalized cases, stressing theorem proving, diagnostic analysis, and careful applied work. Prerequisite: AP/ECON 3500 3.00 or equivalent. Course credit exclusions: GL/ECON 4260 3.00, SC/MATH 3330 3.00. Note: Acceptable course substitutes are available in the Calendar.
