Provides an overview of the short story genre from its inception in the early nineteenth century to the present. It provides detailed analyses and theoretical considerations of the form of stories by well-known writers from many countries. PRIOR TO SUMMER 2015: Course credit exclusions: AP/EN 4130 3.00, AP/EN 4130 6.00.
