Provides students with the opportunity to develop the analytical skills necessary for more advanced phonological work. Emphasis throughout is on practical analysis and argumentation, drawing on data from a wide variety of languages. Prerequisites: AP/LING 1000 6.00 with a grade of at least C; AP/LING 2110 3.00. PRIOR TO FALL 2013: course credit exclusions: GL/EN 3601 3.00, GL/LIN 3601 3.00.
