This course deals with the theories and principles of law and justice which underlie legal systems, with an emphasis on how these theories and principles impact on the political process. Readings draw from a variety of classical and contemporary sources.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
