Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite
Examines the processes and policies of European integration. It pays particular attention to the advantages of closer integration on the European continent while also considering the difficulties of governing a multi-level and multi-national polity. Topics include current European issues such as the Euro and Euro-zone crisis, enlargement, democratic accountability as well as specific policy areas. PRIOR TO WINTER 2015: Course credit exclusion: AP/POLS 4515 3.00.
