This online course considers the history and practice of several nonfiction genres, from the personal essay to travel writing and investigative journalism. Students will find lectures on style and technique on the course website and will respond to the weekly reading by writing short responses in an online class discussion. Note: Internet access is required for this course. Course credit exclusions: None. PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusion: AS/WRIT 2100 3.00 (2008-2009).
