Introduces students to print protocols, explores fundamental problems in book and other print formats and considers the adaptations of these protocols to and in the age of the computer. Also at issue are the basic problems of book design.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
