Introduces social work students to the historical and current acts of oppression as experienced by Indigenous people, families, communities and Nations. Students' learning will also focus on the positive contributions that Indigenous knowledges and worldviews have on social work theory and practice. Prerequisite: AP/SOWK 1011 6.00.Corequisite: AP/SOWK 2050 6.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
