This course focuses on the theory and practice of French phonetics and French prosody. Activities include intense pronunciation practice, study of stylistic levels and regional variants and the analysis of pronunciation errors. This course is not intended for native speakers of French. Note: Language lab may be required. Consult the departmental supplemental calendar. Prerequisite: AP/FR 2100 6.00. Course credit exclusions: GL/FRAN 3621 3.00, GL/FRLS 2700 3.00, GL/LIN 3621 3.00.
